Pair of large verdigris bronze wall lights/sconces with twin arms, in the Neoclassical style possibly by Maison Bagues, 1970`s ca, French. These wall lights have been gently cleaned while respecting the vintage patina. They are newly rewired & earthed, PAT tested by an electrician and ready to install. Each has the following new components: two E14 lamp holders with card covers, and two clip-on lampshades. These lights can be use with a dimmer. It is possible to use these sconces in other countries although it may be necessary to purchase different light bulbs suitable to local electricity. These sconces could be from Maison Bagues of Paris as they have several design similarities. The Neoclassical form has been given a Modern twist cast in solid bronze and finished with gilt & verdigris. This smart design would suit a range of interiors such as Antique, Art Deco, Hollywood Regency, Traditional, or Contemporary.

This unique set of antique Art Deco sconces was made in England around the 1920`s. Each sconce individually handcrafted from antique Victorian food domes in silver plate. They have several design features typical of 1920`s Art Deco: the Modernist design concept, geometric lines, elegant proportions and use of quality materials: antique silver plate. This design is classic, timeless and decorative.
