I own a vintage Eames EA106 Herman Miller chair (vitra edition, probably from the fifties, or early sixties) upholstered in black vinyl. The vinyl fabric has started to tear in one corner and  needs to be changed. Probably with black leather (or black hopsack). Does any have a reliable contact that would be able to do this in Europe? I have been searching the web and found few that can do that in US, but the shipping quotes makes it prohibitive expensive to ship the chair to be repaired to the US. Any leads, contacts, names would be appreciated.

I am trying to find a reupholster here in the Us for mine and not having any luck. I was wondering if you’d be willing to point me in the right direction. It would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Cheers

You can’t reupholster it. Daniel what’s his face from the Eames office would tell you to just patch it. So just patch it.
