@andersen. I only found 2 hits; apparently model 037, designed by Geoffrey Harcourt for Artifort.

Maybe @wesemael has Artifort catalogues or other sources of info?

@lexi It is neither a artifort nor a harcourt TheHarcourt 037 for artifort is quite different see the picture Harcourt had his own site wich disapeared but can be found on facebook wich i dont have I dont think he worked for kaufeld  I find the chairs as 037 airport model for Kaufeld

@wesemael. Thanks for your reply. I too had my doubts about the information I found. 

His Facebook page is about his new hobby ,painting and hasn't been updated for years. He would be in his eighties now.

@lexi @wasemael thanks for the input. I guess these were designed to furnish an airport as the Wegner chairs ? At any rate, these would need being re-upholstered so I'll pass it on...
