Hi there, meanwhile I glued the crack with skin hide glue. Pretty satisfied with (at least the visible) result. First slight test showed that the arm holds low pressure. There is some very little movement in the connection, what makes me think that the corner probably will not stand a more rabiat usage. However, I will let it for now as it is and see how long it lasts. With the next crack I suppose there is the only way to split the break in two and glue again.

I'm curious about your choice of finish, though. Seems a bit glossy perhaps.
@browkin I hope that you have solved the problem. But if the crack opens up again, you probably will have to take the chair apart.
