	just aquired an Akerbolm Oddly, my wife, 2 year old son and I just got back tonight from a thrift store having purchased an old chair. My wife (who picked it out from under an old table) found the metal plate with words "Akerblom Chair - Sweden" and decided to look it up on the www. After some searching, we came across this amazing forum. Thanks for all the information and the graet pictures. Our chair has been painted, so there is some work to do getting it to look like some other chairs on here.

	good thing..... Good thing for advil, so much scraping and sanding. I'm curious on why they would use beech wood, All the tables I have seen on line don't look like this. What kind of tint would u recomend? It looks so silly, right now. Good thing I'm a crazy danish furniture fan. Thanks Gabrielle

	forgot one thing I forgot to specify one thing regarding the whole monarch thing. If the dealer is absolutely sure the piece was made in the proper period by studying the joinery, saw cuts, etc., they can leave off the word "style" and just say "William and Mary chest on stand" or whatever. I think all of these terms that "trads" use don't really apply when speaking of well-documented Modernist furniture. I agree with you that it either is or it isn't. And if it isn't, it can be vintage or it can be new, but it's still a copy.

	The only thing The only thing a little funny to me is the date. I'm not 100% sure when the rosewood was discontinued, but I thought it was mid 80's - am I wrong? Anyone know exactly when? If it was after 1993 looks like you're golden.
