I'm so excited to get this clock. It is a 1957, only made for one year.

Argh! I was trying to post this on the thread on recently acquired items. Didnt mean to create a new thread.

It's time we had a new thread anyway.

My parents
Actually found these for me. My mom loves finding little knick knacks and came across these salt and peeper shakers on her last excursion. My dad found the sofa. I sort of remember it being idetified before? Fabric is in great shape. Needs new foam for the cushion and thankfully there is a zipper in the back of it so I think it should be easy. Spanky, I seem to remember you mentioning differing types of foam. What would you guys recommend? I assume I should try and make it one piece as not to see a crease.

Nice sofa!
You could use a good quality urethane foam in maybe a medium firm density (dunno what ILD or whatever that would be). Or spring for latex. Looks like it should be 2" thick but see if you can figure it out from the side of the cushion.
The pigs look very 70s to me. I used to love the Mad Monk Pottery shop in the West Village (NYC) back then and they had a lot of things in that style.

Congratulations on the new clock Rockybird
That's a great one and doesn't come around very often. Looks to be in great shape too.

Laurel Lamp
Tom, nice fan. Found this yesterday. Laurel Lamp. Love the even glow........1960s, I think. Has a nice tag which reads: Laurel Lamp Mfg. Co., Newark, N.J.

Braun Fan
The fan is NOT Dieter Rams. It has nothing to do with him. The designer is Reinhold Weiss.

I love that Laurel lamp
better pic of the table I picked up the other day. The pic of it folded up just didn't do it justice.

Tom
Nice vase. Most people would be thrilled to buy a vintage Braun Fan in good working condition.
They are often in pretty rough shape so finding one in excellent working condition should be worth $100.00.
