My understanding is that the model 42 was designed by Kai Kristiansen (in the 50's) for Schou Andersen but at some point Feldballe Mobelfabrik also produced the 42's. Is this correct and if so were the chairs also produced by other danish maufacturers in the 50's/60's? Any help would be much appreciated

The chair was designed in 1960 for Schou Andersen and VSA had been the only producer until it was reissued by the Japanese company Myazaki a couple years ago.

@danish-nut I love this chair and I’ve seen the original drawing. It was dated April 1960. I always thought it was made a few years earlier but it wasn’t.
