Advice on dismantling a royal cado system

lovely system you have - are they the faux-weave cabinets underneath ? very nice if they are 🙂

the cabinets have an integrated metal hanger that sits on metal rods that go through the wooden uprights. to remove the cabinets you just need to lift them up about 2 cms and they should come away. the metal hangers are on the top and bottom of the cabinet so be careful to lift straight up when you do 🙂

i advise removing everything from the cabinets before trying to take them off... they aren't particularly heavy but they aren't light either 🙂

attached is an image of the bottom bracket sitting on the metal rod that supports it. the top bracket is similar but a little deeper.
