Bought what I presume to be a Dining Table or at least that is what I am using it for ,also I was wondering if anyone knows what I should put in that lovely little bowl in the center?

this isn't by Peter Hvidt.
The bowl is under the glass?

IS it possible that you have...
IS it possible that you have the table base upside down and the "bowl" should be on the ground looking a bit like a raised platform? What does it look like where the leg supports intersect on the bottom of the "bowl"?

The base is sitting proper...
The base is sitting proper with the bowl being under the glass,I added a picture to show the bowl inset into the base.

Queer feature-- an inaccessible "display" bowl
Let's see... what should one put in there? Wood fruit? Sea shells? Potato chips? A Lois Vuitton makeup case?
