Greetings all!

Fab snappy.  The lovely model seems to have a look of deep thought on her pretty face, so the book is probably something written (or typed) by Jackie Suzanne.   Probably a first edition of Valley of the Dolls, or Once is Not Enough..  And those aren't strawberries.  Those are actual chunks of a decent cut of raw red meat.  You must understand that many beautiful women in the mid century survived on decent vodka, American cigarettes, bird chairs, Jackie Suzanne, Perry Como and raw meat.  All of their glasses had red spots.  All of their gowns had issues.  It was a simpler time.  I miss it.

Best,
Aunt Mark

Yay, Aunt Mark!  I was going to post something about how I hope this thread doesn't escape your notice but thankfully that was not necessary!
If i was still going to junk auctions, this album cover would certainly inspire a new obsession.  I could easily spend hours and hours sifting through boxes of mildewed LPs looking for cool props in the photos.  Another bullet dodged...

Mark, that's a whole novel, or at least the start of one, in one great paragraph. Thank you.

Good Morning Design Poodles!
I've been away. I took a trip on a decent boat...I lasted 40 days, had to leave early....missed you all dearly.  Now back in mid 2011, I so enjoyed album covers.

why not?
