Somehow I was lucky enough to get this Paul McCobb for Ceramics Associates vase. ~1956-1958. Needless to say, I'm over the moon.

Never mind that it is not a pedigree and it needs full refinishing but it was FREE left in the alley for the monthly heavy haul trash pick-up.
Modern Mates tall chest of drawers with a pull out desk by Leslie Diamond for Conant Ball (sometimes misattributed to Russel Wright who did the earlier American Modern line)
My 7-year old said he will keep it until he is old, like 37 or someting...

Not sure why my Mira-x by Panton was found abandoned outside Goodwill. The store clerk said it was too big to hang on their wall so I can take it if I want it. It is great for providing color in a mostly white house. Pantonworld featured it a few years ago.
Spraying cold water on fabric (until damp not wet) seems to work better and faster in removing wrinkles/folds than ironing. I learned this from a stylist who helped me remove wrinkles on my shirt and suit minutes before a friend's a wedding.

This 2 yards long swath of vintage Op fabric by the Finnish firm Tampella (the other is Marimekko) was found at the rummage Goodwil for a mere $.79 cents.
Someone bought it over 40 years ago hemmed the edges to turn into a table cloth but never used it.

Why don't you start a dedicated repair thread? There is going to be a lot of cross talk and people posting new finds in this one.
Nice find too.
