Dears,
Just a question because i don't find out the right documentation.
Do you know if the Eames coffee Table Contract base was made with a 5 feets (like for the lounge chair) ?
It seems me strange, but...

I found only one model on the Die-Designer website (link bellow) with the reference :
Eames et3 contract table 50er herman miller good condition
5 feet.
I'm surprised and have never seen once.
I only know 2 "star" bases : sharp or round edges, but with 4 feet.
Does anybody have a suggestion ?

Odd. I believe I found the on...
Odd. I believe I found the one you mentioned. That five-point base looks to be the same as the one used for the Vitra version of the 670 Lounge Chair.
The four-point, flat-footed base is known as the "contract base" whereas the rounded five- or four-point base with vertical feet is known as the "universal base"
