Bauer Pottery, the company that produced Wright's American Modern line 60+ years ago has now reproduced the line. The stuff looks real nice.

It does look really nice. Unfortunately, it also looks (is) really expensive. $24 for a mug? Jesus. Not the Russel Wright spirit at all.

at those prices, it'll be discontinued in a year, and you can gobble it up at a steep discount....

Also, besides the price
one wonders if there any differences in the making of these. Are they dishwasher safe? Oven safe? At those prices, they don't say.
