Vintage teak sideboard from the Triva modul series by Erik Herløw for Nordiska Kompaniet 1960s, Sweden. The sideboard has lovely brass details and the design is clean and classic with a black steel frame around. Inside there are two cabinets and four drawers with brass fittings. Label marked Triva AB Nordiska Kompaniet Stockholm Made in Sweden NK. Key available. Very good vintage condition. Measures: Length 139, depth 47, height 75 cm. Erik Herlöw (1913-1991) was a Danish midcentury architect and designer. After educating at the Academy of Fine Arts 1941 he opened his own in 1949. He received the Eckersberg Medal in 1958. Herløw has characterized Danish Vintage art with a number of designs within jewelery, cutlery, furniture, etc. Herløw’s designs have been exhibited in several places in the world, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
