Good evening members, I am a long time addict to design and 1st time forum member.

I have joined up in the hope someone out there will be able to help identify a recent purchase. As usual, I found myself not able to walk away from and have a desperate interest in identifying its designer ALL HELP WELCOME and a link to validate suggestions GOLDEN.

I am not a dealer, but a keen restorer and want any restoration to be as accurate to original as it can be.

Looks like more of a found-object or tramp art kind of thing.

“Potential Ernest Race Chair” is a bizarre assertion

I appreciate the feedback. "Potential Ernest Race chair" was intended as a question (as am looking for ANY suggestions as to it's history)... I have since updated the heading woth a question mark. (Many thanks).

I am aware it is a rust bucket, but it appears to have been made Very well and with some really nice elements of design. Possibly just a student project or something. Like you say.

I am told by a friend it has a look of Race about it.

Still any other suggestions or confirmations welcome, as am only curious.
