Hi all - new here so apologize if I make mistakes. I'm not much of a design person, but came across this forum and loved the nature of it.

I recently came into possession of a small drop leaf side table that looks antique-ish, but I have no idea what I'm looking for. I was hoping that someone on here would have some thoughts on what type of wood this table is made out of, possibly if it is antique, different identifying features of the table, era, and how much it may be worth.

I have taken a slew of photos. I hope this link works: https://photos.app.goo.gl/6qT5YhMnPyq5xXHL7    -  If you need any other types or angles, please let me know.

As I said, i'm new to this so any information will definitely help. And if you are able, please use the dumbed down version of terminology so a commoner like me can understand. I greatly appreciate it.

Looks like mahogany to me but I'm not a wood expert, and made in 20th century.  This forum is not for discussions of values.  I'd recommend you go to liveauctioneers.com and search for "drop leaf side table" .  You will see many examples of similar tables and what they sold for at auction.  Like this one:

Hey mark737 - than you so much! I apologize and will definitely check out liveauctioneers.com for that additional information. The detail you have provided is super helpful in and of itself.

Thank you so much!
