Ok so when I got this one I thought identification would be a given due to its distinctive frame legs and design… however 4 days later I’m still scratching my head.

So feels very Danish to me but could be completely wrong, good build quality. The entire unit sits in a frame with A frame legs either end.

I can just about make out a ‘makers mark / made in ?’ stamp behind the drawers, however this hasn’t helped things at all.

If I had to guess I’d say the stamp says Made in France, however this doesn’t feel very french to me.

Anyway hoping this may be an easy identification for some of the more educated out there!

Any thoughts welcome!!!

For what it's worth (probably not much) , this sideboard sold by a British dealer on Vntg appears to share some of the same design details.  The dealer did not list a designer or maker, just described as "MID-CENTURY TAMBOUR & 4 DRAWER SIDEBOARD, 1960"

Many thanks for the reply and definitely similarities there and feel like I'm getting closer!

I found the same one you mentioned above on design market where it’s described as ‘unknown Scandinavian’

The bow front and bracketing on the frame leads me to think that it’s either not the same maker or possibly some significant time and design changes between mine and this.

Feel like I’m getting closer though!

@yogi369. The closest I could find was a tall cabinet by Robin Day for Hille.

Shares some design details with your cabinet.
