He'll trash the White House, he'll file lawsuits against every member of the press & their employers (including Fox but not including his new favorite, AAON or whatever it is), he'll finish undoing all of Obama's good works, etc. etc. etc. Maybe we'll get lucky and he'll stroke out in the first week after the election?

I looked into Flos and Fellini (due to the F on the knob...but I'm thinking an F knob might be commons since I saw 3 of them for sale on ebay) I would love any input you have. Thank you! | ... 1.5. Turned out great on the drawer fronts, which I did indoors around 78 degrees. But the top and sides are coming out blotchy. I don't know if it's because I didn't sand enough or maybe the air temperature is too high (I tried to do in the mornings when it was still in the high 70's here). Should I sand it down and start over, or would additional coats, maybe in a lighter cut, even things out? Attachment: DPC5.jpg
| Eames PACC with no stamp - is it legit? | 1 Relevance | 6 years ago | SynBiscuit | Identification | |
| ... seller says there are no embossed stamps anywhere on the shells, which sounded alarm bells for me as I was of the impression that only the earliest shells didn't have any stamps. I've done some research online and it seems like there's plenty of other evidence to support the seller's claim that they're legit - the chairs have the patent sticker and filling material compliance label on the underside, and the chairs while in good condition certainly look to line up with the label's manufacture date of 1970. It seems that the PACC was also pretty much never co ... | |||||

| Thanks @lexi , but yes, completely stupid, this morning I went downtown by bicycle, of course through several red lights, as always, but this time I didn't notice the police car just behind me ... using my greatest charm I was able to defuse the situation ... phew!!! ... | |||||

| @mvc I‘m just a German boy and feel with you. I guess the phrase means to finalize things, adding the last missing pieces. (Und das akribisch und gründlich) edit: I only reacted to a message in my mail and didn’t realize that the case had been closed already. 🤦🏼 | |||||

| @lexi I do not know if the word is translatable. I think there’s something like nit-picker in English. It describes someone who takes everything too precisely and discusses everything to the I-dots. Literally translated it means Crumb shitter, which sounds funny in German, too. Of course I didn’t refer to you with this, it just kind of fits to people who are described as being „akribisch und gründlich“ | |||||

| @bo Wow!!! This is the last (to my knowledge) missing M&S chair from their range. Do you mind if we transfer this to the Madsen and Schubell thread? I have been looking for it quite some time but never found it. I guess the reason is that was not successful. It’s not a very remarkable chair to be honest, and I can well imagine that it didn’t sell well and that also people didn’t care enough to keep it after this kind of furniture got out of fashion. But for us here this is a great find! Thank you! | |||||

| @Herringbone I didn't ask for being taught in behavior, but for more background information on your research. The two "documents" look a bit strange, as if someone had pre-formulated everything and all Kristiansen had to do was sign it, following the motto, I don't know what it says, but it doesn't matter, I'll sign it.Therefore my question: at what date did he sign it? How old was he?And who has pre-formulated the documents? One of his family? Or Lars Korsgaard Jørgensen? If so, who is this guy?I am asking these questions because you wrote above: "... whic ... | |||||

| @bo That is hard to say. They didn’t design together, as far as I know. My guess would be Arnold Madsen, because it’s more of an upholsterer‘s chair. I can ask his daughter, maybe she has any info. | |||||

| Sure no problem. What are the dimensions of yours? I didn't see one exactly like it with the hole in the shelf, which might suggest it was some form of media cart. You could always just call it a "two-tiered table on casters" . | |||||

| This New York dealer sold one as a "Danish Art Deco Sofa" c. 1930 but didn't give any info on a maker or how they determined it was Danish. You could try contacting them and asking, maybe under the guise of consigning it with them. They had it listed on 1stDibs for $11K but who knows what it actually went for. http://www.sophiaroseantik.com/furniture/danish-art-deco-sofa-1 | |||||

| It's odd that you didn't find any other tack holes, but I can say for sure that that's not Møller quality work on that upholstery. They would not have tacked on the bottom edge of the rails like that and their tacks would not be so unevenly spaced. They'd all be in a neat line, all about the same distance apart. And as Zephyr said, the line of fasteners (usually staples, while we're at it) and the raw edges of the upholstery material were neatly covered by a black cloth tape, like old-fashioned bookbinding tape. I can't explain the lack of other holes or m ... | |||||

| ... construction like that, something had to give, and indeed, some of the seat plywood was delaminating a tad. Fixed it with injections of epoxy. I ordered rubber shock mounts in the UK. Early in this very ancient thread I found commendations for Epoxy resin. The supplier of the shock mounts recommended JB woodweld. It’s not available here in NL, but similar ‘the world strongest’ resins failed me. I understand why. Any epoxy resin cures rigidly, while the rubber of the shock mounts ‘wriggles’ (by lack of another description). Back in the day, polymer high tack ... | |||||
