| And don't forget a little dishabille... 😉 Post Script: I resisted Boston Legal for quite some time because of Shattner, but he redeems his entire career with this role, once you catch onto the relationship between himself and James Spader's Allen Shore. The scenes of the two of them on the balcony at the end of each episode are hall of fame just on their own. And for the elegant, self-sufficient, highly competant, low maintenance dames, such as yourself, there is the delightful character of Shirley. Supremely well written, too. I had given up on TV until my ... | |||||

| El Verde dishes | 2 Relevance | 18 years ago | Riki | General discussion | |
| El Verde dishes Barry, I went to an auction today and bought a box lot of tableware that I'm collecting piece by piece. Anyway, mixed in the box were 4 cups and saucers of your Max Schonfeld "El Verde" stoneware. I don't need them and would be happy to send them to you if you email me your mailing address. (if you want them, that is!) Cheers, my email is rikic@bellsouth.net | |||||

| not okay to be dishonest *spanky* I never said it was okay to be dishonest. That is your poor interpretation and an inability to comprehend and understand what you read. And yes, another persons behavior is none of my business until their interaction with "me" makes it my business. | |||||

| hiding repairs is dishonest How is replacing a part not a repair? Don't you go to the auto repair shop to get car parts replaced? When something is broken and you put a new part on it, it's called a repair. | |||||

| honesty and dishonesty Is it dishonest to buy something for a low price when you know it's worth much more? I don't think so. As I said before, it's not hard to find out the value of things these days. If you shop on ebay, you know there are all kinds of people who don't know much about modern design but know enough to find out what they have. What's dishonest is to lie to someone who asks what an item is worth. I'm often asked to look at antique and colletible dolls because the owner wants an idea of what they're worth. I buy and sell antique dolls and ... | |||||
