This high-backed yellow armchair, from English design studio Scandart, is a wonderful example of mid-century European design – albeit from a company originally based in the furniture capital of England, High Wycombe, in the 1960s. A refinished walnut wood frame houses a foam seat and high back, reupholstered in a hand-dyed mustard organic wool bouclé fabric from a Scottish mill. Supremely comfortable to sit in, this armchair comes with a small cushion, also finished in the same natural dye bouclé.
