Back to the roots: Gare Maritime
For the 2021 edition, the Brussels Design Market has chosen to leave the sheds of Tour & Taxis to settle in the former freight station built in 1907 and renovated 110 years later into a completely energy-neutral building: the Gare Maritime.
The inspiring history of the station ties in very closely with the story of Brussels Design Market and whose very first editions already took place in this unique place. It is therefore the perfect location to welcome the next editions of Brussels Design Market.
The Brussels Design Market will take place on 25 & 26 September 2021 in Gare Maritime, Tour & Taxis, Brussels.
Contemporary Design Market
For the third year in row, an area of the Brussels Design Market will be exclusively dedicated to contemporary Belgian design. Carefully selected by a committee of design experts, 50 designers will showcase their last creations at the Contemporary Design Market. The Belgian duo Muller Van Severen will take the centre stage as Guest of Honour. To this end, it’s a unique opportunity to discover designers, meet up-and-coming talents and, of course, buy authentic Belgian design pieces.
