The Tulu chair was designed by Japanese designer Kazuhide Takahama for Simon International in 1966/1967. LA Tulu is one of the very first models to have paved the way for the use of the rod, an evolution of tube bending, which allows slightly curved and extremely rounded structures to be produced. The base is chrome plated. The back and seat are upholstered with high quality black wool, fully removable and removable.
Dino Gavina once said: “Tulu is the most beautiful chair entirely made in the post-war period. These elegant chairs are in very good authentic condition. This is Simon International’s first production and is marked with a label and an’S’ in chrome metal. The black upholstery is cleaned and in good condition, with normal signs of age and use. The price is for the set of 6 chairs.
