Rare dining set designed by Robert Slezák for Slezákovy závody in the 1930s, Czechoslovakia.
The set includes a very rare folding dining table made from oak and a set of 4 Bauhaus tubular steel cantilever dining chairs made from beech wood. The length of the table is 120 cm, but it can also be fully opened to a total length of 180 cm. The legs of the table can also be easily removed (locked out from place) and stored beneath the table (in a special system) for an easier storage and transport.
This set is in very good condition as we have completely restored it, including the wood which we restored to its peak condition and the chrome-plated steel frames and legs which were fully professionally cleaned. Please note however that the table and chairs may still show some wear consistent with age and use, which of course does not affect their functionality at all.
