Rare Bauhaus oak folding dining table, model ST1, designed by Robert Slezák for Slezákovy závody in Czechoslovakia, 1940s.
The table is made from oak and features four tubular chrome-plated steel legs. It is very elegant and perfect for everyday use. The table is after a complete restoration, including of course the wood, which we restored to its peak condition.
The length of the table is 120 cm, but it can also be fully opened to a total length of 180 cm. The legs can also be easily removed (locked out from place) and stored beneath the table (in a special system) for an easier storage and transport of the table itself. Please note however that although this table is after a complete restoration, the steel legs may still show some wear consistent with age and use, nevertheless that of course does not affect its functionality at all.
This table is a truly classic and elegant piece that would most definitely suit any interior, and it is a well-known design that is well documented in general design literature.
