Orrefors wall lights, Carl Fagerlund, a pair, glass leaves & solid polished brass, 1960`s ca, Sweden. This pair of wall lights have been thoroughly cleaned respecting the vintage patina. Each is newly rewired, earthed, PAT tested, fully working and ready to install. Light bulbs included. It is possible to install these lights in other countries although it may be necessary to purchase different light bulbs suitable to local electricity. They can be used with a dimmer.   This set of two vintage sculptural wall lights is attributed to Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors Lighting.   The combination of Modernism & floral makes this pair of wall lights an unique addition to a range of interiors such as Art Deco, Mid-Century Modern, Hollywood Regency, 70`s Glamour, Traditional or Contemporary.   From a central base in solid polished brass extends a single arm of rectangular section. This curves upwards to complete the leaf design. The base is a circle with curved corners.   Each sculptural clear glass shade is shaped with a textured acanthus leaf shape. The shade is indented in the centre to `rest` on the brass arm giving this piece depth & volume. The upper edge of the glass leaf curves slightly outwards to finish the design. The shades have an external gloss finish, internally there is a layer of sparkling specks of crystal shards creating depth & great reflections. The glass shade securely attaches by two decorative brass round washer nuts that screw internally to the arms. The shade is removable for cleaning & packing.   The lamp holder sits on the arm facing upwards. It has a decorative cylindrical shape solid brass tube cover.   Each lamp holder carries a small standard screw light bulb E14 up to 60 Watts each. At present fitted with Candle clear light bulbs of 28 Watts (as photographed), which are included in the price, but could take any other E 14 light bulb shape for a different look.   To attach the light to the wall, there is a separate hidden removable rectangular flat metal plate behind the circular brass frame. The plate has holes to fit to the wall. This plate screws sideways to the main polished brass frame by two decorative brass screw pegs.   These wall lights are both in very good condition. The 2 glass shades are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The polished brass frames have the original clear lacquer present in good condition, with minor marks and a warm antique patina developed on the brass under the lacquer in some places adding character in line with age.   Packing is offered free of charge. We take special professional care while packing. For safe transport, the glass pieces would be removed and individually wrapped in a layer of bubble wrap and soft cardboard. The frames would be wrapped in bubble wrap.
