Blue Pine Coffee Table

Pinus pinaster coffee table with blue tones. This piece is built from woods attacked by the bluish fungus, giving it those tones naturally. The author recovers these materials, treating them and turning their defects into another aesthetic element of this table that makes it unique. The design processes of the galician craftsman agustín soage are often conditioned by the use of the remains of noble woods that in the vast majority of carpentries would be used for firewood or simply discarded. Thus, each piece is unique and enhances the beauty, nobility and quality of the materials that arrive at the author’s workshop.
