Side table with tops in hamburg oak treated with 100% organic jensen oil. The rest of the structure and legs are made of sunburst acacia wood aged creating a unique patina. The hamburg oak of this piece grew naturalized on a farm in the coastal town of cangas. The tree was knocked down by a storm and later recovered by the craftsman. The design processes of the galician agustín soage are often conditioned by the use of remains of noble woods that in the vast majority of carpentry would be used for firewood or simply discarded. Thus, each piece is unique and values the beauty, nobility and quality of the materials that reach the author’s workshop.
