Side table with top in australian black acacia and ‘quercus robur’ oak. The legs are made of tropical sapelly and iroco woods. This piece of furniture is one more example, within the artisan’s collection, of the respect and recovery of materials to create unique pieces. The combination of the four woods, with cuts from other works, make it an unrepeatable creation. The design processes of the galician craftsman agustín soage are often conditioned by the use of remains of noble woods that in the vast majority of carpentry would be used for firewood or simply discarded. Thus, each piece is unique and values the beauty, nobility and quality of the materials that reach the author’s workshop.
