We got this sofa bed in bad condition and would like to restore it to its original look. The challenge is that it came without the back cushions, and we were wondering if someone has the same daybed or photos of it with the cushions.
We are quite sure that the cushions were sort of triangle/ wedge, like in similar Danish daybeds, but it is not clear how they would work once the daybed unfolds into the bed.
Update: I found this, and it is very similar!
@amber5. Hi; Could you post a pic of the Hove Mobler stamp/mark and the patent pending stamp? I am interested because daybeds like your one are usually attributed to Ekornes who produced the Combina series ,which included a very similar daybed/sofa, and it was very popular. It is possible other manufacturers were inspired by this design and produced their own version or were licenced to do so. Looking forward to seeing the stamp/label on your daybed if you wouldn't mind. Thanks in advance.

@amber5. Thank you. Having done a quick search ,it would seem that this style, by Hove Mobler is found mainly in North America. I have not found it on any Norwegian sites; export model maybe? Very interesting to see. I will enquire with some Norwegians to see if they are familiar with it.

@amber5. Got some info from a person who used to work in Hove Mobler. He says it was "Model 5". No designer mentioned; was produced over quite a number of years and a lot were exported to USA and Canada.
