Eames EA117 by ICF - Missing part?

Hi everyone,

I'm the owner of an Eames EA117 desk chair produced by ICF. It has a 4 star base.

The chair is very wobbly and I'm sure there's something wrong or missing at the base.

Unfortunately I can't find much information about this particular chair online, so I hope to find some here.

I'm attaching a few images of the chair and when I unscrewed the base.

Is there anyone who can see what's missing, that makes it so wobbly?

@arcticsounds, I'm familiar with only Herman Miller production, but it appears the base hub bushing is either the wrong size or is improperly seated. Possibly a make-do repair by previous owner as these parts do wear out and proper replacements can be difficult to source.
