Who would have thought it could be
that Mark might come out of his tree
and descend to our level
and, yes, even revel
in hose that affords us such glee ?

Sox often have little dots
while others are knitted with knots.
But never have *I* seen
a pair like these -- *I* mean
they're covered in bright-colored spots !
Good morning SDR and Eameshead!
Truthfully yet sadly, what appear to be socks cladding my tender ankles are not. When the outside temp dips below 60, the hairy skin on my legs turn navy blue with red/orange/pink spots. Men get nervous, women get interested, I get along. And I love all of the poetry.
Fondly,
Your Aunt Mark
ps you should see my hips!
Eameshead, it's called . . . a limerick. But I think you knew that.

Haiku is so . . . 2015 ? Weird and abstract limericks will sprout like spring clover, in 2016 !
.
Mark is a spotty lad: I knew it ! Aunt Mark in a fuchsia Pucci ski onesie is a delicious thought.

Happy full-moon Sunday. (Why does the moon appear as a disc rather than as a globe ?) I never saw a brighter moon over San Francisco than last night's.
Because with a full moon, the light source (the sun) is coming from the exact same angle as your viewpoint. It's the same reason that flash camera photos look "flat". Add to that the sheer overkill of light hitting the surface of the moon, and you get a pretty flat effect. (But I am guessing you already knew THAT too, SDR!)
And yes, I knew it was probably a limerick. My fake aghast. And they were wonderful at that.
