I just picked up a Braakman desk in birch.
(note mine, but exactly the same model:

It is in decent shape, but the former owner unfortunately added an ugly knob just above the lock on the door.
I cannot really take it off, because there would be a visible hole. And the knob is quite practical. So I was thinking of replacing it with something like the knob in the link below.
What do you think of this solution?
And does anyone know where I could find this kind of knob in Europe? I have searched the web in vain.
Or do you think I should use a different kind of knob all together?
Thanks a lot in advance!

Peg Knob
Looking at the desk on the link you posted I would use
a peg knob instead as I think its less flashy that the dish knob.

peg knob vs round knob
Thanks a lot for the suggestion! You are probably right that a smaller knob would work better.
Not sure that the white center part of the peg knob you posted would work with the birch though.
