First let me say my table is not a fine work of art, but I do want to keep it. It's a laminate kitchen table but the edging has deteriorated into a gummy mess. It's not a wood or laminate edge, it's somehow "painted" the same color as the top. Can I somehow scrape it off and apply a stain that will hold? Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

And I planted a lovely shade plant into my new small white planter. Yes.
Drinks anyone?

ps spanky, I brought back the nervous bird pillows, but maybe it's because they are down filled?...I don't know.

Picture of a bird -- in case you had something that needed a bird on it.

Ooo, nice foliage contrast--color, size, shape--with the new plant, Auntie Em! And the bird shapes on the pillow sort of echo the angles of the new plant's leaves, too. Well done!
The shorts are nice, too. I'm a fan of mixed blues.

My-mother-the-artist used to chuckle at people who said blue and green don't go together. She came from another time . . . when people actually believed stuff like that, I guess.
Speaking of photos -- fed fan, where are you ?

Blue and Green should never be seen... except on an Irish colleen. That's the saying I grew up with, but then again I am probably from " another time".
Keeping with the Irish theme and given all of Mark's sartorial posts, I feel a limerick is in order.
Mark has quite a collection
From which to make a selection

Shorts galore
All for our delectation.

The ancient greeks would not have been bothered by blue and green together. As far as they were concerned, they were the same color: "chloros."
If it is fine by Auntie Mark, and the ancient greeks like it too, then who am I to disagree!

ok , since fedfan is still in the mensroom... I have 10 confessions to share.
~Smell is important.
~People keep their cars and their undergarments in about the same shape.
~I know how to fly an airplane. yup.
~Quonset huts make my kind of horny.
~I saw something today in a "first dibs" gallery that has my attention. They need to sharpen their pencil.
~My running shoes aren't Gucci.
~I never know what to wear.
~You can't blame the holiday's..you were already fat in September.
~I could make a decent living selling flyswatters and re-conditioned tombstones.
~I adore all of you.
Fondly,
Aunt Mark

Plus+
I decided to go with a blue/green combo for tonights dinner out. I LOVE this jacket. The belt is cool, too. The glasses are odd.
