Oh, Lawd, I can
already see the title of Robert's follow-up book, Midcentury Gay Design in the Florida Home. That Tarzan vase is going to be the freakin' cover photo.
Thank you for the chuckle, Mark, as always!

I have several of the Gantofta vases too. My wife likes them, so I get her a new one every year.

I was looking at some more of LaGardo Tackett's work
I found this article which I thought some of you may find interesting. Being in the UK, I never seen his work before.

have admired your collection Jessie...having noticed them in other posts.
Nice collection of 'whites' woody...
I have a collection of 'blacks', but just various vases from friends and family. Not from notable souls, just gifts that have been give over the years...

Such nice stuff
I am going to include a pic of the mantle that I had put in when we bought this house, out of native Oregon black walnut with a live edge, and that picture I recently bought from OSU. As promised, I painted the entire living room to make it look more at home.

Thanks for the kind words, Rockland, Mark and Noah. The stereo is a Brionvega RR126 designed by Achille Castiglioni in 1965. It came in various colors including red, white a wood veneer version. The speakers lift off and connect to the side to reveal the turntable.
