I am starting scavenge for my courtyard. We never seem to discuss outdoor furniture.

Brown Jordan is nice...
and Walter Lamb is priceless! (Also produced by Brown Jordan). Also love Salterini orange slice, aka pac-man design and lets not forget Richard Schultz.

Aren't there more I haven't...
Aren't there more I haven't heard of? Designing outdoor furniture should really be just as exciting a topic. There are more constraints, more obstacles in a way. Using materials that resist wear, making comfortable and attractive seating without the use of padding .... Creating a nice outdoor "room."

Telescope
How do we feel about good old Telescope director's chairs? They can even be accessorized.

woodard sculpture chairs and sofas are the most amazing, reasonable priced mid century patio pieces.

I love Woodard, but the prices do seem to keep climbing.

Brown Jordan
How easy is it to replace the straps? I've seen reasonable priced pieces on craigslist several times, always without straps.

Dining set
I've been pondering this dining set for my new abode in Santa Fe. You should also consider second hand shops, the russel Wright stuff from the '50s is still available for a reasonable price and would look cool with your new retromodern house.

Ooops!
My apologies...Wrong designer. Ed Wormack...that's the guy I meant. These used to be bought from Sears and everyone had them in the '50s. I loved them, my grandparents had them. I used to sit and boing/rock in them for hours as a kid. I think they'd look cool paired with the table I showed up above.

Oh, I now those. Really popular in Austin. And I can't decide if I like them or not. Are they too retro pedestrian?
