I purchased four of these very similar to Eames chairs fabricated from thick solid cast risen which makes the relatively heavy. I believe they are from 1970's. Anyone have ever seen these before? If so, are they made by a known manufacturer? BTW, they are well made.

Speaking or writing about fake Rolex. maybe we should extend this to Burke (or even Saarinen) and few other manufactures who were influenced by so called Eames era designs and to this date hold their own . With pictures posted and and bit of keen eye one will notice, although they might appear at first glance to be an Eames chair, these chairs have nothing to do with Eames chairs except maybe they are influenced by it.
I think your chairs are even less like Eames chairs than Burke tulips are like Saarinens. There are copies meant to look exactly like the originals and then there are the "inspired by" designs. Two totally different animals.
Can you ID the species of wood? That might help to narrow it down a bit---or might not at all.
