Nothing fancy
Didn't pick up anything fancy this week, but a few items that we won't have to worry about if they get knocked over. The chair and tea tray are older, but the rabbits are modern : )

Dining Set
Just pics this set up. Apologize for the Picture. Its the actual pic that was in the craigslist add....just haven't gotten around to taking any of my own pics as of yet. So I know the chairs are Fin Juhl but not sure on the origin of the table? Any ideas? As you can see in the pic, there is a metal support that stretches from the under surface of the table to the legs. There are holes in the inner surfaces of the legs by which the support inserts. The legs are a bit splayed.

Looks like the table I have,- bought with my Hvidt Molgaard chairs by Soborg. I don't have a picture available right now.

and now a bit of pottery
have a major weakness for pottery...no clue as to the origins of any of these. Certainly the small face vase is rather Paul Klee-esque.
EDIT - The UGLY one has a really nice arts and crafts type stamp.

What an incredible dining set jdip, I love the Finn Juhl chairs.
The table does indeed look like a design by Peter Hvidt & Orla Molgaard Nielsen. Does it have butterfly bolts at each end for quick disassembly?

You guys
Are money. H. Moon, that is the same table. Thanks to both of you. There is really nothing wrong with the material covering the chairs but the seat cushions seem flat. Not sure if they are supposed to be like that. There is a spring webbing underneath.

I just redid some Finn Juhl chairs with the same kind of seat. They should be the same thickness as the back, I think--so whatever foam will restore them to that thickness. If you're going to redo them, of course.

Is there a patent label on there Orleans? I wonder if there is a connection with Harry Nolan and all the fuss over the cantilever.

OOPS homecrest not homecraft
yeah there's a patent pending label...
Homecrest
Industries Incorporated
It's in pretty good shape. There's some rust near the label but overall it's not too bad.
As for the litigation with the cantilever chair....not sure.

Nelson X-leg table
Found at a junk shop for $15. Unfortunately, the top was "resized" by a previous owner with a circular saw. Still, with a new slab, it might make me a nice desk.
