knoll international label  

this is the bottom of a bertoia shell chair and it has the KNOLL INTERNATIONAL label which to my understanding indicates that the chair was made post-1969, however, the manufacturing label of the chair shows 1968.
do you think this char was made during the transition period when KNOLL ASSOCIATES was becoming KNOLL INTERNATIONAL considering that the date was at the end of the year in november?
or do you think someone slapped a KNOLL INTERNATIONAL label on the chair?
