johnson furniture question  

i recently bought at a used furniture store some interesting piece which i can not identify. they are of cherry with lighter wood leg treament and have a strong early modern look or perhaps a bit of art deco. they are not the eliel saarinen rectangular early modern pieces. the legs on the chest of drawers have a organic look. drawer pulls and wide with brass treatment. also from this group is a partner desks with strongly tapered x crossing legs at one end. i have seen reference to a grouping by david roberson smith- "dynamique" for johnson furniture but no details. does anyone have a idea about these items.
