help needed to identify lounge chair, and determine appropriate worth.  

I obtained this chair in Baltimore over a year ago, and have since become more and more curious of the designer and its actual worth. I was told that it was a mid-century piece and it definitely has the light wear to warrant its age.
My first impression is that it is essentially a Barcelona lounge chair knock-off...

The legs are polished solid steel, continuous form without solder marks at the join; the frame under the seat is square steel tubing and the seat screws into this, there are clear solder marks here and some discoloration from applied heat from this.

The chair upholstery is a gray-white vinyl without tears, though has some wear on one corner. It has a few light stains otherwise that could be rubbed out.

I've been scouring the internet for some time and kept my eyes out, but have not seen anything like it.

Looks like it may be more of a one-off or only a few were made? What would the worth be of such an item?/How could I get something like this priced?
