a while back I obtained three chairs with two hockers and a coffeetable, designed by grete jalk for jeppesen, executed in teak.
now, today, I bought the same chair but in oak. I don't see these often, was oak a popular choice of woods for these organic scandinavian designs? I know mogensen and wegner used a lot of oak, but their designs were often 'bulkier' wich seems to suit oak well.
