An elephant in the room can be quite entertaining. It is so easy to direct everyone's attention to them while maintaining your cover. And they always elicit such an outsized response.
On the other hand an elephant in bad leather is undesirable. If you want a cheap elephant you can be assured of cheap leather. In fact you can be assured of the very cheapest. Does bonded leather even come in grades?
Well I'll be. I like that those grades are so fully described. The grading systems used in other areas of the leather industry can be so confusing. For instance, what does it mean when all the leather froma tannery is grade B? Or which is better: standard, utility, or special?
You can really rely on man made leather to be, "better by design!" Because you just can't keep the cows from getting hung up on fences, or sadistic cowboys from from burning them with hot pokers.
