Two decorative Norwegian cylindrical brass and stone vases by Saulo AS in Sulitjelma, Norway. The vases have a padded fabric base underneath. A Norwegian product from the 1970`s with beautiful polished stone and brass on top and bottom. Measures: 18 cmH and 20 cmH x 5,5 cmD. Good vintage condition. The stone consists of old copper and contains iron, copper and zinc bound in sulfur cistern, in addition traces of gold, silver and minerals. Beautiful patterns in the stone. A piece of Norwegian design and industrial history from the mining community Fauske about 100 km north of the Arctic Circle.
