Has anyone listened to this 'bio-neers' radio show out of the US? Some of it is ok despite the hysterical new age tone..especially when they talk about things like this new formaldehyde free adhesive that is coming onto the market, I can't wait for it to get here, its based on the proteins that shelfish use to attach themselves to rocks.

I just
attached myself to a TV cable for the first time, so there's all kinds of new (for me) content in my house. I tried watching a documentary about the history of wood use, but they tried to make it more "attractive" by employing a narrator who must have been trained for the porn industry: male voice with heavy aspiration after each sentence, and an artificial air of excitement. I couldn't take it.

.
I only listen to the public service radio here and go online, most tv is just a waste of time, and it would take a rare narrator to strike the right note on that sort of doco.
The new adhesive for panel industries is very exciting, I once worked (ok 1 day) for a particle board maker and it was truly horrible, if this stuff can be applied to mdf manufacture I'll be even more impressed.

Sounds
cool. The right stuff needs no fancy presentation -- "just the facts, ma'am" are more than entertaining (and enlightening) enough by themselves. . .
