put them
back in the street and let the horrible monsters die in peace.
they are copies of the villy nørgaard chairs but much more brutal and ugly and certainly NOT danish. The primary reason why english copies of Danish have £0 value

.
yes they are, this is known as arctic teak and is harvested by especially attractive Danish youths in an unusual climatic zone in Greenland. I do believe organic watermelon is also farmed there.

Yeah, Heath
I've often wondered if the hundreds of people, on eBay and other places, that described things as being made of 'Danish teak' actually think they're somehow growing tropical hardwood up there in the frozen North 😉

"Danish Teak", is one of those unusual myths that's hard for people to let go...
Sometimes people give me the "you're-crazy" stare when I them there are no teak forests in Denmark.
It's akin to "Eames Brothers".

Right. . .
even though, at the end of the piece, we have this:
Cover Numerals: Ray Eames designed ten covers for Arts & Architecture, the magazine that helped to establish and define American modernism. The cover numerals are based on the dates she penned as part of her uniquely organic layouts for the January and December 1943 issues.
