Oil on canvas by artist Carmelo Castellano, 1973. A Beautiful signed & dated abstract oil on canvas by the Spanish born painter Carmelo Castellano. A prominent member of the “Groupo Z” who were avant garde spanish painters from Valencia that formed in the 1940’s. He exhibited all over Europe and notably at the major Paris galleries as well as shows at the Grand Palais and elsewhere. Provenance: The estate of the painter, Signed lower right.
