Okay, I've got nothing good to say about Karim, but what's so awful about the transparent Eiffel Tower chair? The edge proportion looks slightly heavy, but that's my only criticism. I think the transparent material marries quite well with the lightness of the original chair's aesthetic. We've seen a lot of atrocities visited upon Eames design, but there's a purity and simplicity to this acrylic seat that works.

Yes, I think the acrylic rockers are more of a gimmick, whereas the acrylic shell is a more natural fit for the design.
