I have the opportunity to purchase this Johannes Andersen designed coffee table which is signed with applied disc manufacturer's label to underside: [Made in Denmark CFC Silkeborg Furnituremakers Danish Control]. The same tables that I have found on the internet all say that they are made of rosewood but this table looks a little different to me. I am no wood expert so can someone confirm that this table is indeed rosewood. I know that putting a value to something on this board is taboo but the sellers asking price is $300. Can someone answer with Bad, Good or Great as to the asking price for this table.

Thanks a head of time for any responses....

It also looks like teak to me.
I see why commenting the price is "taboo". It is way too subjective.
I am not aware of the prices in the US but I guess here in France, this table would be priced around 700 / 800 € at a dealer's. On the internet, buying from a private seller, I would expect about the price you indicate.
It all depends why you want to buy this table. If I needed a coffee table and wanted a Johannes Andersen one, I would buy it. On the contrary, I would not buy if I wanted to resell it for profit.
300 $ is also about the price I paid for my rosewood Grete Jalk GJ 106 coffee table. I did not think it was particularly a good deal until a well known french dealer came to my place and was amazed by the price I paid...

If the wood on the table is in question, we need better photos. One single close up of the wood would probably suffice.
