then the Nelson bench.......
you can take any plugs off and thread the wires thorugh the slots, which will go some way to hiding them..
( I hate wires..why can
't we have wirless everything ?)

nelson bench
I have several nelson benchs. I bought a new one from Herman Miller for the office , and it is stark white wood (almost looks unfinished )but cool looking, I bought one for the studio from furniture fancy a darker color wood and it looks great like it was at least 20 years old . ( i like that look) I would put your money on a nelson bench you can do a lot of things and they come in differnt sizes put glass on it if you want a coffe table , or use it for a support for a book case. great looking and cool and you can find a good price on them .

I've got both
Well sort of. I have a Nelson bench which sits in my beroom hold ing a Akari-style lamp and providing me a place to slap my tchoukas whilst putting on my shoes. I also have BluDot chicago shelve, the 8-Box bookcase and the crendenza side board. The BuoDot is much less expensive and rather nicely built for the price. I'd go for it and get the Nelson more for a an art object. It looks so beautiful when not cluttered.

If it's a TV stand....
I'd get the Nelson bench, it looks really nice with a TV on it. I actually posted on the subject of the Nelson bench awhile ago. If you go Nelson bench, make sure to put something down under the TV(I.E. plexiglass), the tv can scratch up the wood. The Nelson bench can also hold a lot of weight, you may want to call Blu Dot to see the weight limit. If you go Nelson bench in the USA, use highbrowfurniture.com and get free shipping, no tax, and 10% off with code FAQ. Plus you will usually get it with 10 days.

Is it possible..
to negotiate such a dicount on a Nelson bench that the amount saved would cover most of the cost of the Blu Dot piece?.
