OK, folks. Educate me. Why does this Eames chair have no bids? Every other one that I've seen would already be up to 2000 US at this point in the auction. Is it the veneer problem or the missing cushion, or what?

Thanks.

the cushions are toast
You have to factor in replacement.
It has also had some repairs...the arm rests lost their
adhesion at some point and were reattached with two bolts.
It is in rough shape. It was not just 'Dad's chair'. Looks like it spent
some time in a frat house.
A good seller shows all its flaws as this one is doing.
Someone may need it for various parts.
Yet of all of its parts are questionable. I don't think i would pay 500.
I would fear sitting in it would blow another connection.
The shipping discussion seems high? I think i paid much less? fed-x ground?
Can't remember. Mine is in much better shape and it exploded one day.
(had a hidden repair we found after)

The cost of restoring it
would be more than buying it new.....

Getting better...
Got it, thanks. I knew those two bolts under the armrest weren't supposed to be there! Maybe someone will buy it just for the sticker, jk. Wasn't there someone you lambasted on this forum for selling stickers?
